Standard First Aid & CPR

Standard First Aid & CPR certification, which is the level that the majority of Canadians complete. This certification covers all CPR and choking techniques for adult, child, and infant, as well as two-rescuer CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training. CPR is typically required for early childhood educators, security guards, and anyone who doesn't work in healthcare.

Standard First Aid

At Kore Life, we offer a comprehensive Standard First Aid training program that is recognized as the gold standard for first aid training by Canadian businesses. Our program takes a thorough approach to learning how to respond to emergency situations, while providing a calm and supportive learning environment.

The course is taught using a blended approach, where participants are given a unique code to complete part of their training online on their own time. Within three months of completing the online component, participants attend an in-person didactic (hands-on) component to complete the certification process. This allows for a more flexible and efficient training experience, cutting the original length of training in half.

For those who have previously taken an accredited first aid program and are looking to renew their certification, we offer a renewal (recertification) course. Participants must hold a valid card and must not have an expired card.

At Kore Life, we are committed to providing high-quality first aid training that equips participants with the knowledge and skills they need to respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations.

CPR

CPR-A: Have you taken your required workplace CPR-C but now need First Aid? This CPR-A course combined with First Aid is ideal for you. With a quick refresher on CPR, you leave this class with the credentials you need in all workplaces (where CPR-C is taken separately), or are you a stay-at-home parent, a caregiver, an older sibling, or a babysitter? And if you want to know what to do in an emergency, then this course is for you.

CPR-C: This course covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including responding to breathing, airway and circulation emergencies for adults, children and infants. This course is ideal for people who want to be prepared for the unexpected.

BLS (HCP): Our BLS program builds on the fundamentals of CPR level C, providing participants with the specific skills and applications required for healthcare positions. This includes 2-person rescuer techniques, oxygen administration, pulse checking, working in a team, CPR for adults, children, and infants, defibrillation, choking, and responding to heart attacks and strokes.

Become Certified

At Kore Life, we encourage you to sign up for our CPR C training program and bring your friends and family along too. Our experienced trainers will guide you through the course and provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to respond confidently in emergency situations.

We offer various options for achieving or renewing your certification, depending on your needs and schedule. Our certification programs provide an achievement 1-year certificate, with annual CPR training recommended to maintain your skills and knowledge.

For those looking to renew their certification, we offer a blended renewal program, which includes a 4-hour in-person session and a maximum of 3-4 hours of online training. For those seeking full certification, we offer a blended full certification program, which includes a 7-hour in-person session and a maximum of 4-6 hours of online training.

Our full 1-day recertification program is comprised of one 7.5-hour in-person session, while our full 2-day certification program is comprised of two 7.5-hour in-person sessions.

Our pricing for CPR training is $150 CAD per person plus HST for full programs, $130 CAD per person plus HST for recertifications, and $20 CAD per person plus HST as an add-on to any first aid course. We also offer group rates for up to 10 participants at $1,350 plus HST and for up to 20 participants at $2,200 plus HST.

At Kore Life, we are committed to providing affordable, flexible, and high-quality CPR training programs to help you become confident and capable responders in emergency situations.
